The school uses Twitter as the primary method of communication for trip updates. This means we can quickly spread the message and inform parents/carers of any news, such as delayed arrival back at school.
We encourage parents/carers to follow the Twitter handle @TomlinscoteTrip when their son/daughter is on a school trip, so they can stay up to date with any news or changes to the schedule.
How can I set up Twitter?
If you are using a web browser on PC or Mac, you can follow our Twitter feed without setting up your own Twitter account.
However, if you have your own Twitter account, you can use the mobile app on iOS and Android devices to follow the news on your phone or tablet. This means you can also turn on notifications when your son/daughter is on a trip, so you will be notified when staff on the trip post any updates.

How can I receive notifications from the school trip?
When your son/daughter is on a school trip, you may want to set up automatic notifications on your mobile device (you will need your own Twitter account to do this).
