Welcome to Tomlinscote School
From April 1st, 2026, Tomlinscote School became part of a stronger educational family following the integration of The Prospect Trust (TPT) with Weydon Multi Academy Trust (WMAT). This exciting development allows us to offer even more opportunities, resources, and support for our students while continuing our long tradition of academic excellence and personal development.
Tomlinscote is an extremely successful and popular 11–16 Academy with a proud history. Opened in 1970 as Surrey’s first purpose-built comprehensive school, we now educate around 1,500 students, supported by 100 teaching staff and 35 support staff.
Students join us at age 11 from local Junior, Primary, and Independent Preparatory schools. Oversubscription is common, reflecting the school’s strong reputation and high standards.

They support, encourage, and lead one another, representing the school with confidence and integrity. We regularly receive compliments on their conduct during educational visits and in the wider community.
