How to Apply for In-Year Admissions

Tomlinscote School is an Academy and manages its own applications for in-year admissions.

To make an in-year application, for example if your child needs to change schools as you have moved and your child can no longer attend their current school, please download and complete the School Managed Application (SMA) form below. Once fully completed, the form, plus 2 x proof of address and supporting evidence (if applicable) should be sent direct to Tomlinscote School (by post or email to admissions@tomlinscoteschool.com.)

We will aim to process your application within 10 school days.  Please note, however, your application cannot be processed until all information has been received.

Further information on school admissions can be found at surreycc.gov.uk/admissions or you can call Surrey's School and Childcare Service on 0300 200 1004. You can usually apply for in- year admission up to four school weeks before the place is needed.  For members of the Armed Services and Crown Servants who are being relocated to the area, applications may be processed up to four months in advance of a move - evidence of relocation will need to be provided.

The Supplementary Information Form for Tomlinscote School should be completed ONLY if you are a member of staff at Tomlinscote School applying for admission of your children under Priority 4.  Staff should check the admissions policy for eligibility and contact the Admissions Officer at the School with any queries.
