i2i Teaching Partnership is an established school-centred teacher training provider, working with schools across Surrey, Hampshire, West London and the South Coast to develop the next generation of great teachers. Its expert-led programmes combine postgraduate academic study and research-informed practice with hands-on classroom experience from day one. Trainees develop their understanding of the theory and pedagogy behind effective teaching and learn how to apply this knowledge in real classrooms to support pupils' learning and progress.

From day one, trainees become part of school life, gradually building their classroom experience, teaching skills and confidence. They are supported by a dedicated team who understand their individual needs, provide tailored guidance and constructive feedback, and help them develop into confident, reflective teachers. Our close partnership with i2i brings schools and expert trainers together around each trainee, working collaboratively to help them develop, build confidence and thrive throughout their training.

i2i offers Primary, Secondary and SEND training pathways, opening up routes into teaching for people with different interests, experiences and ambitions. All programmes lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with the option to gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

i2i makes local teacher training accessible, with training centres in Farnham, Reigate, Shepperton, Basingstoke, Fareham and Southampton and a network of partner schools across the region. This gives aspiring teachers the opportunity to train close to home, gain experience in local schools and build a teaching career in their community.
