Base Location: Regus Business Park, Frimley (Regular local travel to Trust Academies)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join an ambitious Multi-Academy Trust and help shape the future of our organisation.

The Prospect Trust formed in September 2017 is currently responsible for the provision of education at The Sixth Form College Farnborough (circa 4000 16-18 students) and Tomlinscote School (circa 1500 11-16 students). However, the founding aims of the Trust include education across all phases of education and we envisage that new schools will join the Trust as our reputation for excellence grows.

To ensure we support all academies to deliver an outstanding education, in accordance with our strategic aim we have already established a number of centralised business services, including HR, Finance and Careers guidance. Whilst the HR Director and HR Business Partners lead the HR function at a senior level, this pivotal role is responsible for delivering a customer focused transactional, administrative and analytical service to all Trust Academies.

The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring the HR Service Delivery team effectively administers all transactional aspects of the employee lifecycle, whilst ensuring the integrity of all HR data held within Trust systems. As the HR Service Delivery team  strive to resolve customer enquiries at the first point of contact, the successful candidate will be required to line manage and coach the HR Assistants to develop their understanding of HR processes in order to interpret internal policy & procedural guidance and legislative requirements. As the HR Analyst also forms part of the HR Service Delivery team, the successful candidate will also be accountable for people related regulatory data returns and the identification of any future analytical customer requirements. 

As the new HR model continues to embed, best practice from each Academy will be streamlined and new people processes and policies will be required in order to provide a high quality service to all Trust employees and Academy leaders. The successful post holder will lead this development work and create service level agreements to review team performance.

We are seeking a candidate that can hit the ground running and make an immediate leadership impact whilst driving improvements to people management processes and activities. The role would suit an experienced HR generalist with a strong working knowledge of employment law. You will need outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others to resolve issues.

As the HR team are moving to the new Frimley office base in September and this is a time of transition for the service, the successful candidate will be required to work full time and we are regrettably unable to support term-time working requests at this stage.
